Schilke has introduced the new 30C2 French Horn Mouthpiece. This design is unlike most of the horn mouthpieces Schilke has produced over the years. The 30C2 has a deep cup and a number 8 bore size, very comparable to a Giardinelli C8. The rim is much more narrow and squared than your average Schilke rim, and the high peak of the rim is closer to the outer edge of the mouthpiece. This 30C2 will work great on Kruspe style horns like the Conn 8D, Yamaha 668, Holton Farkas, and Hoyer 6800 Series.
